Obey is the brainchild of Shepard Fairey and is now one of the largest street wear brand in the world. First spawned back in 1989 as part of the street art movement, pictures of Andre the Giant started popping up all over the USA and has become an instantly recognisable icon ion the street wear & street art community. Shepard has given Obey a strong signature illustrative style and all of his pieces can be instantly recognised as on of Shepards. As Obey began to delve into the apparel market, Shepard enlisted the help of friends, Mike Ternosky & Erin Wignall, and since then the brand has grown into a street wear staple. Here at Ozzys, we have stocked Obey for years, and were one of the first stores in the UK to do so and will continue to support the brand as it grows & expands.
