Nikita Clothing was started in a small shop in Reykjavik, Iceland, in the beginning of 2000. Designer Heida Birgis wanted to create clothing that combined street fashion with her skate/snow/surf oriented lifestyle. The first designs became popular in Reykjavik so Heida thought she might as well show people in other parts of the world what she was up to. The rest is history; Nikita has become the number one brand for a lot of girls in the 30 countries where it is available!
